Description
Chocolate croissants are crafted using the same dough as traditional croissants, consisting of flour, yeast, water, milk, sugar, salt, and butter. However, in chocolate croissants, a strip of chocolate is placed at one end of the dough triangle before rolling and shaping it into a crescent. The dough is then proofed until doubled in size before being baked to golden perfection. During baking, the layers of dough rise and puff up, creating a light and flaky exterior, while the chocolate inside melts into a luscious filling. Finished chocolate croissants may be dusted with powdered sugar for an added touch of sweetness.
